Property developer Megaworld has been included for the first time in TIME Magazine's Asia-Pacific Best Employers 2027 list, and is the only Philippine real estate company to make it, Mindanao Times reported from Manila.

The list, developed by TIME with global data and research firm Statista, features multinational organisations considered strong workplaces in the region. According to the report, selection was based on independent surveys and more than 1.4 million anonymous evaluations from over 80,000 employees in 14 markets, including Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines.

Megaworld president and CEO Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso thanked the magazine and said the recognition shows that "investing in our people is one of the most important investments we can make as a company." She added that the company aims to help employees across its offices, hotels and townships in the Philippines grow in their careers.

The recognition follows Megaworld's inclusion, for the second straight year, in Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For – Southeast Asia, according to the report. The company said the honours reflect its efforts to strengthen workplace culture and support long-term career growth for its staff.
