Property developer Megaworld has moved up to 22nd place in Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For – Southeast Asia, up from 90th in 2025, according to a report carried by Mindanao Times.

The company is the only Philippine real estate firm on the list, and this is its second straight year of inclusion. Fortune compiles the ranking with Great Place to Work. It recognises organisations where employees report high trust, feel valued and respected, and take pride in their work.

Megaworld president and CEO Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso called the recognition "a huge honor." She said it adds to the company's responsibility to its employees nationwide. "When our people thrive, we all move forward," she said.

The company also earned its second consecutive Great Place to Work Certification this year, with what it described as a record-high 97 percent employee feedback rating.

Megaworld also cited other recent recognitions. At the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability (ACES) Awards in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, it won three awards: Industry Champions of the Year, the Community Initiative Award and the Inspiring Workplaces in Asia Award. Separately, the Institute of Corporate Directors gave it a Four Golden Arrow Award for corporate governance.
