Nickel Asia Corporation (NAC) staged the fourth edition of its MBZ Cup Golf Tournament on October 23, 2026, at Wack Wack Golf & Country Club in Mandaluyong City, according to Edge Davao. The event is named after the company's founder, Manuel B. Zamora Jr.

NAC President and Chief Executive Officer Martin Antonio G. Zamora opened the 18-hole competition with the ceremonial tee-off. Maddie Ibuna was named Overall Champion.

In the Men's Division, Ace Barbers won Class A, Ryan Jornada took Class B, and Martin Despi topped Class C. In the Women's Division, Carla Pena won Class A and Kimberly Mondejar won Class B.

Atty. Ryan Rene C. Jornada, NAC Vice President for External Affairs, Regulatory, and Community Relations, said the tournament is meant to bring partners and stakeholders together outside of business settings. He described it as "one way we honor his legacy" and compared running a company to golf, saying both call for judgment, patience, strategy and adaptability.

San Juan City Rep. Ysabel Maria "Bel" Zamora-Jornada also attended and likened golf to public service, stressing discipline, patience and long-term partnerships. "In business, as in public service, no one succeeds in isolation," she said.

The elder Zamora was recently given the Industry Pioneer Award at the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability (ACES) Awards in Malaysia for his contributions to natural resource development, mineral processing and progressive rehabilitation in Southeast Asia, Edge Davao reported.
