“There is medical personnel on the ground specifically the learners we immediately separate them they must not go to the schools because we knew for a fact nga ingon ani nga problema is highly contagious. Immediately we helped them on the alternative learning mode, modules o online sa sila and they must not with the group because they might affect the others,” he said.

In April this year, the Department of Health (DOH) warned the public to be careful with sore eyes, especially this summer.

According to the DOH, the symptoms of sore eyes are redness and itching in one or both eyes.

The health department also reminded the public to immediately consult a doctor for the right prescription for the medicine because this pain usually gets better within two weeks. The public was also advised not just put any eye drops and avoid touching or scratching the eyes so that the pain does not spread.
