LANY cancels November 14 Davao concert over safety and production issues
Live Nation Philippines said the band's "Soft" World Tour stop at the Crocodile Park Concert Grounds will not push through, and affected fans may seek refunds or credit toward a Manila-leg show.
American pop band LANY has cancelled its Davao City concert set for November 14, 2026, at the Crocodile Park Concert Grounds, according to GMA Network, citing an announcement from Live Nation Philippines (LNP).
In a statement released Wednesday, the promoter attributed the decision to "safety concerns and production issues." The Davao date was part of the band's "Soft" World Tour. LNP did not give further details in the statement as reported.
"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding," LNP said.
Ticket holders for the Davao show may request refunds by registering through the SM Tickets portal or by emailing customercare@smtickets.com. According to the report, affected fans may also have the option of applying their purchase as credit toward the November 7 show, which LNP referred to as the Manila show.
The cancellation leaves LANY with four remaining Philippine dates on the tour. The band is scheduled to perform at the Seaside Arena in Cebu on November 6 and 12, and at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on November 7 and 8.
LANY is made up of Paul Klein and Jake Goss. The duo is known for songs including "ILYSB," "Malibu Nights" and "Thru These Tears."
Why it matters for Davao
Davao fans who bought tickets will need to request a refund through SM Tickets or consider travelling to another tour stop, as no Mindanao date remains on LANY's Philippine schedule.
