Sacleo is a Philippine National Police (PNP) program of a “one-time-big time'' police operation against most wanted persons, violators of loose firearms, and drug personalities.
DCPO Spokesperson Catherine dela Rey said in an interview on Davao City Disaster Radion on November 21, 2022, that they were able to maintain a “great” performance on the implementation of Sacleo from October to November 2022.
“Wala ta nagpabaya sa atoang trabaho diha sa mga wanted persons kay naglihok gyud ang atoang mga warrant officers para kaning mga at large pa na naay mga kaso nga krimen atong madakpan (We continue to track down and arrest wanted persons because of the work done by our warrant officers),” Dela Rey said.
DCPO has also conducted 26 operations in support of their campaign against loose firearms, with ten people arrested. 47 operations have been conducted as part of their anti-illegal drugs campaign, with 54 people arrested. During the operation, three people were killed.
Dela Rey also stated that they have arrested 144 people for illegal gambling in 68 operations.
“Hopefully magpadayon ang atoang team nga gipakusgan nga mga anti-criminality operations diri sa dakbayan sa Davao para ma-maintain nato ang peace and order (Hopefully we will be able to maintain this performance now that we have strengthened the anti-criminality operations here in Davao City to ensure the peace and order),” Dela Rey said.
