As “Hiyas” ang amoang role is to promote in such a way na ma-integrate namo sa interest sa mga millennials and culture and tradition. Example ma heightened namo ang engagement in terms of social media because most of the time ang mga batan-on karon dili ma-separate ang cellphone sa ilahang kamot. We might as well make use of that to our advantage. Kabalo man pud ta ang social media has its pros and cons. Amoa mabuhat gyud is as much as possible is heighten namo ang content that is culturally appropriate and accurate and one that is going to catch the attention of the millennials,” said Bangasin during I-Speak media forum on Thursday.

Bangasin advocates for inclusion not only for the Kagan tribe, but also for the city's 11 ethnolinguistic tribes. She advocates for the education of young Dabawenyos to appreciate culture.

“May aim is to gather short stories and publish it gina-highlight ang maayong pamatasan sa bawat tribu. Kato na mga libro hopefully ma distribute sa mga daycare centers and kami as “Hiyas” mabasa namo ang mga stories para ma-relay namo sa mga kabatan-onang Dabawenyos para kabalo na sila mu -respeto sa bawat tradition sa 11 tribes,” she said.
