Ma. Ricci Juliene Sayon and Alyssa Mae Que finished fifth and ninth, respectively, while Mary Angeline Alajar, Laila Frances Duca, and Imelda Christine Dulay finished first and second, respectively.

Sayon received an 89.20 percent rating, while Que received an 88.40 percent rating.

Que stated that getting a high exam score is a dream come true.

"I feel so blessed and overwhelmed. Being in the top ten has always been an intention to each of my prayers and it's always been a dream—a dream with a little assurance of achievement and now, a reality," Que said.

Meanwhile, Alajar, Duca, and Dulay all received 88.20 percent.

Furthermore, Ateneo de Davao University (Addu) is one of the top ten performing schools with 50 or more examinees and an 85 percent passing rate. Addu's 53 takers all passed, securing the top spot.

San Pedro College received a rating of 96.34 percent, with 369 passing out of 383 takers, and Davao Doctors College received a rating of 90.95 percent, with 201 passing out of 221 takers.

The five ladies were among the 18,529 passers out of the 24,903 people who took the NLE earlier this month.

"It feels so surreal but at the same time emotionally rewarding especially since I graduated nursing successfully with the help of my academic scholarship from SPC and the city government of Davao," she said.

Abigail Ramirez, from Saint Paul University in Dumaguete, is the lone Top 1 passer of the NLE with a rating of 90 percent.
