The ticket for the bus trip costs P3,678 but a 50 percent discount was offered for its maiden route.
According to Davao del Norte Vice Governor-elect and President and CEO of Davao Metro Shuttle De Carlo Uy, the new bus trip is in line with the Public Utility Vehhicles (PUV) Modernization Program.
“Isa po ito sa makakatulong lalo na sa lahat ng ating mga tiga-probinsiya na mas prefer ang land transport (This is one of the ways to help our fellow Filipinos in the province and those who prefer to travel via land transport),” Uy said during the launching ceremony at PITX on June 15.
With this, the bus company will utilize its newest bus fleet Volvo B8R Coaches with Thaco built body. Each unit boasts 44 seats in 2x2 configuration with USB charging ports per seat and even has an onboard restroom to provide comfort for passengers.
