Yulo became the Philippines' first two-time Olympic gold medalist after winning the men's artistic gymnastics vault final at the Bercy Arena on Sunday, August 4.
Riding the momentum of his golden performance in floor exercise, the 24-year-old Yulo averaged 15.116 points to win the gold medal, sending the country into a frenzy for the second night in a row.
Yulo wowed with his first vault, scoring 15.433 points, and then added 14.800 points in his second vault, finally completing the task after finishing fourth in the same apparatus at the Tokyo Games three years ago.
