As of September 12, there are 2,510 vacancies available for the Davao Region leg of the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Department of Labor and Employment's Trabaho-Turismo-Asenso: Philippine Tourism Job Fair (Dole).

At least 33 local employers are expected to attend the job fair, with 18 being primary establishment employers from the DOT of Davao Region (DOT-Davao) and the Davao Tourism Association (Data), and 15 being secondary and allied services from the Public Employment Service Office (PESO).

Tanya-Rabat Tan, regional director of DOT-Davao, stated that the event is in accordance with the national government's directive. She stated that DOT-Davao and Dole-Davao are both targets.

On the other hand, there are 1,796 vacancies in secondary and allied services, mostly with business process outsourcing firms, including 500 with VXI Global Holdings B.V., 391 with Talent Outsourcing Channel Solutions, and 224 with Beawesome Inc

In addition, 122 positions are available at paramount Human Resource Multi-purpose Cooperative, 104 at Officepartners 360 Inc., 81 at Jairosoft Inc., and 65 at Saratel Solutions Inc.

3ME Manpower Services, Alorica Teleservices Inc., Peoplelink Services Cooperative, Rosabaya Distributors Inc., United Wil Manpower and Allied Services Inc., DC Invest Inc., Philippine Seven Corp., and Golden Mindanao Global Holding Company Inc. round out the list of employers.

Data president Cherry Al-ag expressed excitement about the event, noting that the private tourism sector in Davao City is growing.
