On Wednesday, Davao City saw flooding in several streets and regions, rivers overflowing, and hundreds of households being evacuated due to severe rains brought on by the trough of the Low Pressure Area (LPA).

The entire province of Davao del Norte is scheduled to declare a state of emergency following major floods in six towns and two cities caused by intermittent rains from Mindanao's shear line weather pattern.
