The hybrid expo, which took place from September 8 to 10, 2022 at the SMX Convention Center in SM Lanang Premier, drew more than 200 booths representing over 500 brands at Mindanao's premier business and networking venue, as well as the construction industry's leading local and international players in a conducive venue, including Boysen, Equiprime Optimum Solutions, Inframachineries, Topspot, Smarthouse, and Zoomlion.

“This event enables companies to generate more business and more projects in the future. Every year the event covers every aspect of the construction industry, from products and services to innovations,” said Antonio Uy Jr., president of the Davao Contractors Association Center Incorporated (DCACI) in his message.

According to Ronaldo Elepano Jr., overall chairman of PhilConstruct, the activity aims to keep and connect people in the building and construction industry in the island region for this yearly gathering offering discoveries, learnings, networking, and marketing opportunities.

"I feel so proud and fulfilled every time I realize that the PhilConstruct series has contributed to the development of the construction industry and has brought together thousands of individuals from across the country in one location to collaborate for over a decade," Uy said.

PhilConstruct Mindanao 2022 is taking place in the same venue as two other industry events: the Hotel Suppliers Show Mindanao 2022, the region's leading hotel, resort, restaurant, and leisure trade show, and the Print and Label, Packaging and Plastics Mindanao 2022, a comprehensive expo for the packaging, printing, and plastics industries.

"This year's event is even more special because we welcome friends not only from the construction industry, but also from the printing and packaging industries, as well as the hospitality and furniture industries," Uy said.

There will be trade shows and seminars for industry players in addition to the indoor and outdoor displays from a diverse range of exhibitors and brands ranging from small to the country's largest suppliers and manufacturers.
