There are a lot of issues in this world that affects you in a sort of silent fury. This is one of them.

Two technicians who were supposed to repair the Internet connection of the ill-fated household in Sta. Rosa, Laguna are now being considered persons of interest in the killing of the one-year-old boy and the serious injuries suffered by his mother.

According to an exclusive report by Saleema Refran on GMA News TV's "Balita Pilipinas," the two technicians have given their respective statements to the Sta. Rosa PNP. They were accompanied by their operations supervisor.

The technicians were employees of Leviscon, a sub-contractor for Globe Telecom's Internet services.

The 29-year-old mother and her one-year-old son were found bloodied and unconscious on Wednesday after a certain David Dela Cruz and his companion left their home.

The son succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on Thursday.

Dela Cruz identified himself as the technician assigned to repair the household's Internet connection. He and his companion were the last persons seen leaving the victims' house before they were found unconscious.

The mother managed to send a message that she was suspicious of Dela Cruz's actions. She was even able to take a picture of the suspect and send it to her husband.

The technicians from Leviscon denied knowing Dela Cruz and the company One Target, indicated in the suspect's ID.

They are now persons of interest in the investigation after police learned that they filed a fake report on going to the victims' home.

They were supposed to have said that there was nobody home that fateful Wednesday.

Internet provider Globe Telecom has issued a statement that the suspect Dela Cruz was not in any way connected with company.

"The name of the suspect is not in the roster of regular and contractual employees... Further verification also indicates that he is not in the official technician listing of subcontractors in Metro Manila and Laguna," Globe said in a statement.

Husband Calls for Swift Justice

The husband of the 29-year-old woman brutally hammered in a robbery and homicide case in Sta. Rosa, Laguna called for justice as he broke his silence on the incident.

“Bakit kailangan mo pa itali, hubaran, paluin? Hindi ko makuha bakit kailangan mo pa patayin,” the husband said in an exclusive report by Saleema Refran on Unang Balita on Monday.

"Pinapangako ko sa inyong dalawa, hahanapin ko sila sa kahit na anong paraan. Hahanapin ko sila. Para sa inyo 'yan. Sorry hindi ko kayo naipagtanggol pero babawi ako sa inyo. Hahanapin ko sila," the husband said.

The mother and her one-year-old child were beaten up with a hammer allegedly by a certain David Dela Cruz last Thursday who posed as an internet repairman for Globe Telecom inc. Earlier, Globe, has already checked the list of their employees and denied their affiliation with the suspected man.

The widower said the incident happened on their wedding anniversary.

“Napakasakit na ‘yung araw na magiging masaya kaming tatlo, napalitan ng ganitong memorya,” he said.

Recounting the details before the event, he said his wife sent him a text message when Dela Cruz came to their house. The wife also sent him a photo of the supposed repairman and the job order.

Hours later, he wondered why his wife has not returned any of his texts. Then his wife's parents sent him a text message and asked him to come home.

He found his wife and their baby in critical condition in the hospital. The baby was pronounced dead hours after being brought to the hospital while his wife remained in critical condition until she passed away last Saturday.

The local government of Laguna has provided a P200,000 bounty to those who could give information regarding the whereabouts of the suspect.

Meanwhile, two repairman who were the ones supposed to fix the household's internet were taken by the police as persons of interest and were asked for their statements.
